A Journey Through Elemental Realms
Seven days I wandered—
through Their world, our world—
a spiral path, inward and outward,
above and below,
with and without.
The blend begins beneath the soil,
cradled in the bones of Earth.
There, it roots—
Cardamom and Cedar whispering secrets
in the dark humus of becoming.
Then Water calls—
cool and deep,
Cherry Bark and Jasmine drifting
like dreams across moonlit pools.
Air follows,
swift and clear,
Mugwort, Pine, and Lotus rising
on the wings of unseen currents,
carrying spells on the breath of night.
And finally, Fire—
wild and knowing.
A flare of Dragon’s Blood,
a spark of Myrrh,
the heat of Civet and Tonka
rekindling what was forgotten.
This is a union of opposites—
chaos soothed, balance reborn.
A reverence for the Many-Limbed One,
the Goat of Mendes,
robed in resin and shadow.
Witch-green herbs hum nocturnal hymns,
echoes of spellcraft and silence.
Valerian dreams,
Mastic sings,
Sandal and Cypress entwine
with Oakmoss and Poplar,
their voices rising in fragrant smoke.
Self-igniting incense—
the spark is all it needs.
Place upon the fire-proof earth,
ignite, and let it smolder.
Let the elements speak.
