Someone asked me if I could add a little something extra to my Satyr Oil to make it more suited for love work. I sat with that for a moment and realized something.

Just because I am not personally searching for love right now doesn’t mean my magical arsenal shouldn’t have something for people like me who are.

So I decided to channel a love oil for our community. And I can’t believe the timing. The day after the Full Moon, leading into Pride season here in West Hollywood. How exciting.

While creating this blend, I found myself thinking about my younger self. The first time I came out of the closet. The first time I attended Pride wearing a SpongeBob SquarePants T-shirt and glitter on my eyelids.

I was just a kid. It was innocent. It was joyful. And yes, I was absolutely looking for love. This blend honors that feeling.
I chose to work within the magical number seven and I’m sharing the formula openly because this oil is meant to be a celebration.

A celebration of Pride. A celebration of love. A celebration of the LGBTQIA2S+ community and everyone who continues to live authentically, especially during times when visibility itself becomes an act of courage.

The base begins with orchid-infused sunflower oil blended with fractionated coconut oil. Into that I added the animalic notes of civet and rose musk, followed by orris root, hyacinth, carnation, and narcissus.

Together they create an arrangement of liminal florals. Flowers that refuse to sit comfortably in one category. Beautiful. Curious. Defiant. Romantic. Sensual. A little strange. A little wild.

Wear this oil when seeking love. Wear it when celebrating love. Wear it when learning to love yourself again. Wear it to Pride. Wear it on dates. Wear it because your existence deserves to be celebrated.
